I've had over 10 years at home with my little ones and want to go back to work. Want to work for myself and have an interest in the above but would like to know how to go about getting started and getting recognised qualifications re the above. Can anybody help?

The best courses for general recognition are ITEC courses.

There are degrees in complementary therapy now - do you want to go that extreme? Of course degrees are recognised.

This is the college I went to where I did a diploma in Complementary Medicine over 2 years (10 years ago) - it covered several different therapies of which I have mostly used the massage, aromatherapy, reflexology in my practice and nutrition in my other job. The courses have changed since I did mine, I think the nearest to mine is The Natural Practitioner course.

if you want to talk more specifically email me at thumbwitch at live dot co dot uk.
