If you are applying for a job that is F/T but you want to do P/T at what stage do you mention this?

Do you mention it at interview stage or wait to see if you are offered the job and then say that you wish to work P/T.

Also does the same apply if you want to suggest working term-time only?

Thanks

Anyone?

(I'm so out of touch after being a SAHM for years that I haven't a clue)

Depends what p/t you want. If it's a job share, mention at application. If it's term time only or four day week, I also find do it full time for six months and then ask formally through flexible working policy

Its advertised as 37 hrs but its a job I've done before (there were both F/T and P/T posts at the time).

Whats in my favour is that they are advertising lots of posts countywide but there are only going to be a certain number of people (like me) who already have the experience so they may consider it IYSWIM

I'd mention at application stage then, you sound a strong candidate if you've previous experience. Good luck.

I have the same issue, am going for interview for FT position but currently work 4 days and would like to maintain this.

Have discussed with rectruitment consultant friend who said keep it until offer stage unless you are directly asked.

Don't think i will get that far, but if I did I hope te fact I have kept my career on track for 5 years while working 4 days shouprovide a good basis for negotiation.
