Hi everyone,

Do you know whether you can claim your KIT days if you are going through redundancy e.g. reading Q&A and presentations sent via email, and attending meetings?

Thanks! I intend to buy just wanted to double check

KIT days aren't something you 'claim', they are not an entitlement. They are something mutually agreed between employee and employer usually for things like team meetings/conferences/a day or two spent in the office here and there during maternity leave.

I highly doubt they are going to pay you for reading through some Q&A and presentation documents tbh, but if you are having to go into the office to attend meetings, yes you should request that this is a KIT day and negotiate an appropriate amount to be paid to you reflecting how long you will be in the office.
