Have recently left my job as we have moved to new area. Have 2 dcs at primary school who need to be dropped off and collected. I'm looking for change from my previous job as receptionist in a medical centre. I have always quite fancied estate agency (not sure why)?

What part-time jobs do others do and did you find work relatively easily??

I'm an administrator for an advertising agency. I work 9.30 to 1.00 Tuesday to Thursday. I did used to work for an Estate Agents and I loved it but got made redundant.
I'm lucky that my company are really flexible and easy going about hours, so if dc are ill I just swap my day off or juggle my hours around, I know not many employers are as good though.
Good luck.

i work night shift - 2 nights a week - 12 hr shifts
i sleep when the children are at school

I have done 3 full days (22.5hrs) : 8am - 4.30pm
1 full days and 3 part days (22.5hrs) : 8am - 4.30pm and 8am - 1pm
4 part days (22.5hrs) : 8am - 1.30pm/2pm
4 part days (20 hrs) : 8am - 1pm

I have now moved to a nearer office (12 mins) and have shifted my hours to 9am - 2pm which is fantastic as ds1's school starts at 8.45am so I can drop him and get to work, and be back in time to pick him up.

I have been in this job over 8 years, before I had children, and they have been very flexible.

Non-clinical role in NHS

22.5hrs a week

Mon 8-4
Tue, Wed & Thur 8-1

Yes I found work easily but that was before the arse fell out of the economy. Although I still fervently beleive that there are still jobs out there for people who want them.

All of my kids are school aged. I use a CM for the youngest (6) for before and after school on Mon and before school on T, W & Th. My other 2 are old enough to fend for themselves for an hour or so before and after school (15 & almost 17).

Staff nurse in NHS.
Work 10 hrs per week,3 days per fortnight.
Have been qualified 20 years,my manager would like me to do more hours but it will never happen.
I find it too stressful, hate shifts and on so few hours don't really do many unsocial hrs.
Will continue doing this until retirement
