what should I do about new job

Hi, I need opinions please!

I've worked in the same job for over 6 years and I really enjoy it. I had planned to apply for the manager's job when it came up, but sod's law meant that my manager went on secondment 2 months into my maternity leave. They decided to second someone to his post and as I wasn't willing to reduce my maternity leave, I accepted that I'd missed out on the opportunity. I went back to work and was able to reduce my hours. My new boss (who I already knew) is great about all things child related and I'm valued in my role.

But, I saw a new job advertised somewhere else, applied for it and got an interview. However, when I got to the interview, instead of the post being a delivery manager (which is what it was advertised as) it turned out to be a service manager. (They're quite different jobs).

Anyway, I carried on and I've been offered the new job. I don't know what to do!
Pro's are:

It's more money (although thankfully that's not a major issue for us - touch wood)
Jobs on that grade are hard to come by
The journey home would be more convenient

Con's are:
The job isn't the one I applied for and I wanted the Delivery Manager job
I'd have to work more hours
The journey in would be a complete pain
I didn't get a good feeling at the interview

What do you think?

for me, if you didn't get a good feeling at the interview, that's it. Don't do it.

It's not what you applied for and you're clearly not convinced about the place.

If you're increasing your hours, you really need to be convinced it's what you want to do. Longer hours is hard work. Can be worth it, but hard work.

So what did you do???

also, if they got you to an interview for a different job to the one you applied for and didn't think to warn you I smell a rat regarding this company's general attitude to staff!
