Good job-sites for part time work?

We're looking to recruit someone for a part-time role in our company and, as a Mum of two who has been in this situation, I know it would suit someone returning to work.

I wondered if anyone could recommend a good (and not too expensive)jobsite to advertise on.

I know when I was looking it was incredibly hard to find any decent part-time jobs and then to find one that fitted in around my childcare, almost impossible.

My company would just go straight though Reed but I know there are several more specific ones. It's just hard to tell which of them are actually any good.

You could always advertise it here! I'm currently looking for a part time job...

I'm not sure how much they charge, but Monster is a popular one. Or just advertise the job in the job centre - it will go on the jobcentreplus website

I am looking fot a part time job! Well I already have one, but it is not proper part time hours, am searching ideally for a 3 days a week job. Suspect it will not be suitable for me as I am quite specialised but what is your job? Not sure if you are allowed to just advertise on the talkboards though so please let us know where you have put the advert if you can't let us interested parties know what it is on here!!

If you want good candidates it is sometimes worth paying a bit more to go to a good agency who will filter candidates for you.

Jobcentre plus used to be free to advertise on back in my recruitment days. I found my current part time role through workingmums

I would probably say job centre too. Job sits seem to be full of agency jobs, call centres and high ranking jobs.

It really depends on the type of job and if similar jobs are on these job websites, then you might have the right kind of candidates looking at it.

What about "Women Like Us"? Seems quite good.

advertise on here! though the local paper seems to be the best bet to advertise part time round here. agencies charge too much

Try www.flexibleskillsbank.co.uk. They specialise in flexible work & have very low fees for small businesses to advertise vacancies.

www.justparttime.co.uk/
May be of some help.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Sorry not to have got back online sooner. I'm just off to have a meeting about the role so I'll let you know where we decide to go. It's an office manager/pa/administrator role based in central London, probably part-time, 5 short days, just in case anyone is interested.
