I really need some spare cash-I currently work two evenings a week and most Saturdays and Sundays but dont get much a month-Dh is going through a lean time at work and I really want to help out but am at a loss as to what I can do. I'm already an Avon lady and dont earn much from that-any ideas would be gratefully received!!

Will find, one sec

tel 0845 122 1117 (says its freephone, but didn't think 0845 was)

Keep in mind, if planning on combining with Avon, that campaigns probably won't coincide.

Betterware book lasts on average 5 weeks, during which time you would put in 5 orders so a lot of legwork involved. Worth putting in the effort at the beginning tho to gain the customers.

I used to do about 250 books per week but have now cut that down to 150 without loss of sales - because I target the good areas of my territory IYSWIM

sorry - I was looking at an old order form -

0845 125 5000

dropinthe · 31/03/2005 23:43

What would you say is the average spend per order??(With Avon I would say around £12.00)

Average is about £10 - but vary from annoying little £1.99's to lovely £40's

Expectation is you will pull in £1 per book put out and company expect you to aim for getting back at least 80% of books.

So for example put out 200 books, get back maybe 120 on first call. Collect in another 40 on callbacks. Expect orders totally £180 - £220, you make £36 - £44.

I'm lucky because my territory (and they are fixed areas, so no worry of poachers) is right on my doorstep so I can work it easily without transport worries.

lilsmum- I came across a newspaper article on them, went to the website (link below) and applied. They asked for a CV, 2 references and sent me a test (meant to take about an hour). I'm now in a trial period. It's brilliant, as you have no min or max hours, you literally sign on, answer questions and get paid for every question you answer.

No childcare needed, complete flexibility, pay cheque each month. Ideal!

Have just checked out AQA - unfortunately they are not recruiting at the moment

Sounds like a great job Jimjams, let us know how you get on
