URGENT! Can anyone help me with a resignation letter?

I am about to resign from my job but do not want to work my notice period. How can I word my letter so that its with 'immediate effect?'

are you not bothered for a reference? or the possibility of going back in the future? how is your pay worked out? will you owe them anything? they may register it as a debt against you.

although my contract of employment requires me to work for a further four weeks from the date that i give notice, I wish to request, and would be grateful if you could kindly relieve me of my duties with immediate effect.

I have then gone on to discuss my issues relating to why I need to leave pronto

I dont need them for a reference.

I dont owe them any money ( I actually have soem holiday owing)

Use up your holiday leave as your notice period. I did that when i resigned earlier this year.
Unless you've been sacked, they should not refuse you a reference.
