Burned out Clin. Psychologist looking for a change- what else can I do? Help!

I’m looking for some career ideas and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully moved away from psychology into a different field.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist in my early 40s and have worked for many years in the public sector supporting vulnerable children and families. My role involves assessment, report writing, consultation, safeguarding work, training professionals, complex case management, presenting information to panels and senior leaders and working with multiple agencies.

The problem is that I’m completely burnt out.

I still enjoy helping people, but I no longer enjoy the constant emotional intensity, bureaucracy, conflict, safeguarding concerns, and high levels of responsibility that come with the role. I’m increasingly feeling that I need a fresh direction for the next stage of my career.

Ideally I’d like:
A salary in the region of £70k+
A role that makes use of my existing skills
Less emotional burden and crisis management
Better work-life balance
Opportunities for progression
A role where strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills are valued

People often tell me I have transferable skills, but I’m struggling to see where they would fit outside psychology.

HR would seem an obvious choice. Strong interpersonal skills, training others, putting together teams, getting the best from people. High end HR makes money.

If you want more than 70kpa, you will be looking at managerial roles that come with responsibility and stress!

You could do well in Marketing. But you might need to start on a lower salary to learn the ropes and then move up as fast as you can.

Can you do a sideways move into occupational psychology ?

Would you consider working privately as a psychologist? It would be a different type of workload and probably fewer very challenging clients.

Regulatory affairs in CNS therapy area. Big strides in use of psilocybin therapies for treatment of MH indications. Might take a little while to get £70K but v interesting profession
