Childrens Nurses made the jump into litigation case management from NHS

Have any Childrens Nurses made the jump into litigation case management from NHS?

Im in a case management type role now with MDT working across social care, education, acute and community services with private and 3rd sector input.

Anyone similarly made the move? Any regrets ?
Is it a case of the grass is not greener ?....

Any insight welcome

Hi OP

I wasn't going to answer as I don't quite fit your query, but then it struck me it is extremely niche so happy to answer questions if I know the answer!

I'm an RGN who had moved into case management. Majority involving adults but sometimes children as well. Not part of the litigation process in terms of steering the case, but involved tangentially.

Is that what you are thinking of?

Well, it's 9-5 and IME usually working from home. A little travel for assessments but nothing too onerous.

It depends on your personality as to whether the grass is greener really. I like solo working, detail oriented roles, but of course that's not for everyone.

Usually paid competitively- what band are you? Looking at your current role I would say less MDT involvement.

No regrets, there are good progression opportunities and your background will hold you in good stead.

If I can be more specific just let me know
