I have just been offered a role (step up from where I am currently, fully remote). I currently work 5 days in an office - I don’t hate it, but it’s so inflexible - zero room for hybrid working, and the office environment can be a bit toxic.
Anyway, I’ve literally just passed probation in my current role and me handing my notice in is going to go down like a lead balloon. He used a recruiter to find me, and it cost him £12k in fees alone (which he told me frequently I had to add £12k of value in the first 6 months to make the hire worth it). How on earth am I going to do this on Monday? Any tips?
