Moving from government to big 4

I have an interview coming up with Deloitte. It’s a permanent role, associate director level, paying over £100k.

It’s obviously much better paid than my current job, but is there be anything I should be aware of in terms of differences between civil service and the big 4? Any advice on making my experience seem desirable and useful? As I worry they may seem some government evidence as too slow paced or not what they are looking for bc it’s specific to government.

any advice on the transition between industries too would be great

I’m the same level at another Big 4. I didn’t come from government, but I did come from ‘industry’.

Without being too outing, what type of role is it? Client facing or non-client facing?

I have a good friend at Deloitte and she is very happy there. They seem to treat people like adults and have very flexible working practices (whilst of course expecting people to deliver).

DH did this exact move 20 years ago, he def dors not regret it and it was a great career move, earns abput 4 times what he would have at this point if he stayed.
