Shall I apply for domestic cleaning work?

I'm due to become unemployed soon (my NHS admin contract is ending and I've no job to go to for now). My mum said to me (as I'm thinking of doing freelance cleaning for a few weeks until I can get another post), "You wouldn't cope if someone said to 'You've missed this out' or 'You haven't cleaned that properly' (because I'm shy, sensitive an introverted).
I'd appreciate any opinions.

Probably people have corrected you in your current job and you’ve handled it fine? If you think you’d like the work, go for it.
Maybe your mother isn’t the most helpful person to analyse your current job search with.

This.

Plugging a gap with "easily available" work which requires "limited training" is sensible but only you can decide if it is for you. I did it for 2 years but not in a domestic setting and it fitted nicely around other things I was doing. It was convenient.

PS. Not trying to suggest cleaning is easy and doesn't require skill!

Sorry, I have a slow brain and I'm a bit down what with no job before Christmas. I don't get your reply? 🤷

As I guess the poster didn’t see your question, I understand her to be saying:

  1. Don’t give your mum all the details of your job search, she isn’t being helpful.
  2. You’ve had a good idea to do a job that a lot of people want done and that you don’t need special training for.
  3. Only you can decide whether it’s the right job for you
