Healthcare trainers?? SOS

I need recommendations for trainers that will help during a 12 hour shift.
with my current trainers my feet are killing me after around 4-5 hours in which isn’t great. By the end of my shift I can barely walk and my ankles are swollen.
anyone recommend some feet saving shoes? They need to be slip resistant. Arch support etc

Look at barefoot shoes - BarefootBrit has a good website that showcases lots of options, but they are game changing in terms of comfort as the shoes are shaped like your feet so you’re not squeezing them into an unnatural shape all day!

I wear black sketchers, they also wash well which is a bonus.

I was in eye casualty with dd last week and we did a shoe survey for something to do. Everyone had on either sketchers or crocs. It wasn’t an interesting survey. Especially as one of us couldn’t see.

I have the M&S version of Sketchers slip ons. They are really comfy.

New balance 990 or crocs do work shoes.

I had sketchers but they were too frumpy and the laces came undone all the bloody time. I now wear new balance and they are great and I work a 7-7.30.

Asics are really comfy

Nike Air Max 1 are amazingly supportive. It depends on your foot shape though so go to a running shoes specialist to get measured, they can advise of the right shoe.

I think it really depends on your feet. You might need more support, less support, more cushioning, less cushioning....do you have wide feet, high arches, low arches??

As above, it depends on you. If your ankles are swollen maybe you need some compression socks instead? A lot of my colleagues wear them and say they're much less achy at the end of their shift. You can get colourful ones off the internet!
