NHS Interview feedback strange

Asking for my good friend :(

She also went for a B7 job (we went for different roles), but she got a call telling her she was not made the offer and in one of the questions she had to be more detailed about the healthcare NICE guidelines.
She said that was their main point, but after the feedback call she reflected that she actually did talk through each guideline for each health issue.
So I asked her what they said, and it went something like "you only spoke about the guidelines for x condition". But my friend is sure she spoke about conditions XY and Z.

She is abit upset and I have advised her for now don't call them back and say they are wrong (she really wanted this role). She also said as she is a BME candidate, the panel were also diverse so I don't think there is anything untoward there.

Has anyone got an idea of what to do or just let it go? I thought about asking her to tell unison, but why would you go work for a place who didn't want you. She told me the feedback person said "we thought you were a good fit for the team, but you had to explain that question better".

Has anyone else had an experience of strange feedback, and any action to take?
xx

What has she got to lose by calling them? Id work that out first and from that decide whether to call them or not.

If I did call I’d say something like “could you have got me confused with another person as I said X Y Z in response the the question?”

Or is it possible she feels she said X Y Z but it wasn’t clearly said so they only took in X?

She can ask the interviewer for more detailed feedback, or she can ask HR for copies of the interview panel’s notes if she likes, but in my experience of NHS recruitment ,candidates are scored at interview using a points system, so even if she did refer to those NICE guidelines and did a good interview overall, it’s likely to be the case that the successful candidate scored higher than her overall, so they got the job.
