NHS ICB and a HSE restructuring

Anyone else working for either of these? Are you getting the feeling the government is going to row back on redundancies as the realisation of the true cost dawns on them? I’d like to be made redundant but I have been told I’m in the “ transfer to other provider” category, whatever that means.

We’ve been briefed re voluntary redundancy now. Our ICB is looking to reduce head count by 40%. Looks like sadly my job is safe as it is in the proposed new structure . I really was hoping for voluntary redundancy.

Will they consider bumps? So you go to allow someone who doesn’t want VR to stay in your post?

Unfortunately that can’t happen, I have a very minority clinical role, there are 3 of us and all our jobs are in the new structure.

We have also been briefed (ICB), new structure is yet to be released but apparently we can apply for up to 3 roles. The structure will include job titles and job descriptions but no names so all will need to reapply for our own jobs and other peoples should we wish. Or VR.

Shameless bump

Thank you. Our ICB has asked for expressions of interest and I am going for it.
