HMRC Starter Checklist - do I tick Statement B or C?

I am starting a new job, but there will be a crossover where I have been asked to attend the new job for training before my old job finishes. (Not a problem as I only currently work part time). My contract with the new job doesn't start until August, but I will be submitting timesheets for payment for these training days.

However, on the HMRC Starter Checklist, do I tick:
Statement B - "Since 6 April I have had another job but I do not have a P45" or Statement C "I have another job and/or I am in receipt of a State, workplace or private pension"?

At the moment, both statements are true! Statement C is only true for the next 2 weeks, when my contract with my old job ends, and then I will only have the new job (although I am also self employed, but I don't think this needs to be declared on this form, and I might do some bank work for the old job).

Any ideas what I should do??

Statement C is correct. Then pass on your P45 when available.

C is correct, as you have another job and are self-employed (for this form, that counts as a job). When you get your P45 from the current job hand it over, but you'll probably find HMRC have also notified your new employer of a change in tax code as soon as they receive the old employer's notification of your leaving. You'll pay extra tax initially, but that will sort itself out once you only have one PAYE job, and in the worst case, when you file your tax return.
