Waking up everyday feeling anxious

I’ve been applying for jobs for atleast a couple of months now and I’ve had no success. I’ve had 1 job interview and didn’t get the job. I’m not earning anything at the minute and have a baby so life is expensive. I’m just feeling so defeated and feeling like I’m not getting anywhere. Does anyone have any words of motivation or solidarity please? I wake up everyday feeling so anxious about my money situation and the day to come

Would you consider running a small business? You could possibly get a startup grant. For me, anxiety has a lot to do with lack of control over my life.

I know someone that set themselves up as a support person for older people who couldn’t manage their admin. She had practically zero overheads but acquired lots of clients word of mouth.

Alternatively, consider freelance as there are a lot of businesses that need emergency cover (I don’t know what you do).

either way, be kind to yourself. It’s hard getting back in the work saddle after you’ve had a baby. Spend some time addressing anxiety. Hope you are able to enjoy being with your little one. Do you have a partner or family support?

It's very difficult to stop feeling anxious because someone tells you to and you're probably exhausted with a baby and financial stress.

How about taking supplements such as Magnesium Glycinate, Vitamin D and B complex, practicing ten minutes of meditation a day, doing yoga (you can learn online), cutting out caffeine and alcohol, making sure you're eating well, having a walk every day and keeping a journal where you can get out all your anxiety.

Are there any support groups in your area or online for getting back to work? Have you thought about doing an online professional course to add to your CV, doing voluntary work or looking up interview skills on YouTube?
