Answering all boxes in NHS app

Found and NHS job which actually sounds pretty good. Don't work for NHS currebtly. Does anybody have an insight if I should answer all the boxes? They ask about salary of every job I've had, managers title and phone number, references etc. I've usually gone with the "references available upon request". I also don't particularly want to disclose my salary or managers contact info. I was thinking of leaving them blank but iI wonder if that is the correct move?

Yes you need to include your full employment history and explain any gaps. If the information is unknown, especially for employment many years ago, you can state “unknown”. Patchy application forms are likely to get rejected.

You do not have to give permission for your referees to be contacted until you are offered the job.

Thanks. I'm happy to provide employment history and think of few references and not give permission to contact. But I'm not keep on providing my current salary and the salary of any of my previous positions nor the contact information of my previous employers that are not my references. I'm wondering if I can just leave those blank without them thinking anything about it. I'm wondering if it is in case I was already working in the organisation?

The NHS needs your full employment history plus any gaps accounted for.
It's a safeguarding issue, same as in education.
They don't take up references in advance of interview so will only contact the reference if they're actually offering you the post.

The salary questions are probably so you can he put on correct pay points if you've previously been in NHS. But as PP says you risk your application just being rejected at 1st sift if it's not properly filled out and you've not provided what they're asking for.

No, you can’t leave blanks without explanation. Well, you can, but you risk your application being binned. Your choice.

I absolutely hate the idea of disclosing my current salary. I also find it ridiculous to disclose my salary from decade ago that im not even sure what it was. Also leaving contact information of previous managers from decade a go who don't work there anymore/haven't spoken since leaving/are dead who are not my references is a lot to ask. We also don't have grades like NHS in my previous jobs so cant fill that.
This reminds me why I hate job hunting 😅

Does full work history literally mean full work history? Like when I sold strawberries 2 days a week in the summer when I was 14? Or in the summers when I was in uni I worked random jobs? Or just the jobs that I've had since graduation. I haven't had my summer jobs in my CV I years and nobody has ever asked about them. I've gone full on "relevant work history" route. I'm applying for office job.

I'm starting to think that maybe I should just stick to my current job 😆
