Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone could provide any insight/personal experiences of working as a nurse assessor/functional specialist for the department of work and pensions? Which companies would you recommend / avoid?
I've seen so many reviews online regarding the time pressures/pressures to decline patients who need support, in order to meet targets. Is this true?
Surely if we provide enough evidence to back up our reports and its being audited then this can't be the case? Please correct me if I am being too optimistic here!
I am also exploring some other options including CHC Assessor (NHS based) but all vacancies are approx 2.5 hours away (I'm based in North West England).
I'm also exploring roles within Occupational Health, but all posts require experience within primary care. Are there any companies that are happy to train you up on the job and fund the occupational health course or any other similar jobs/training?
I have over 2 years experience as a theatre practitioner (within a range of specialities), please could anyone recommend any other areas I could explore? I'm open to NHS and private sector, but hoping to find a role with some hybrid working.
Thank you in advance!
