What can companies do for me - dyslexia

Hello

My main problem with dyslexia are STAR questions which every single company uses in interviews. I have crib sheets with many examples broken down into the letters Situation, Task, Action and Result. But my dyslexic mind messes these about. Though I can answer questions well in my previous jobs on the spot or bear with me I need to look this up for you.

STAR questions are my biggest let down for me in interviews. I say if I didn't have dyslexia, I would have got a job by now.

I have just filled in an application form and on question about adjustments need to be made. I said, I get muddled with STAR questions. Sometimes I give a perfect answer to something but its for the wrong question.

Seriously getting worried that my dyslexia is stopping me getting a job and if the company reads that I struggle with STAR questions thinks I will struggle with the role I am applying for. Companies and agencies need to understand dyslexia better.

I want help but most places that help are out of my age range, I'm 44 or cost money which I can't afford.

Could a reasonable adjustment be asking for the questions in advance? Then you can prepare for the questions you’re going to get?

Also thinking this. If you had the questions in advance would it help you plan the order in which to give your answer?
