Complete blank slate career/study

Am 42 and am fortunately able to start again except I’m not sure exactly what? I only have ALevels (and some specific banking qualifications) and have worked on/off the past 10 years building family business which is very successful.
I have passive income so am not desperate for large income just yet but am really keen to start a new chapter (DC’s are growing!), and I’m excited to build a career for me.
I’m drawn to HR or teaching, am extremely organised, a very good communicator and manage difficult situations very well. I could not sit still at a desk all day mind! How do people decide what they want to do? It’s like leaving school again!!

Should I study first? And if so, where? Have seen CIPD level 3 for HR but which provider is best? And teaching I’d have to do a degree I assume?

Hope you don’t mind if I redirect you to the Mature Study and Retraining board which exists for exactly your situation. I’d strongly suggest you browse several dozen of the threads there - just to see what other people have considered, attempted, experienced and progressed from. It’s here:

(You may feel you’d like to re-start your thread there, but it’s not compulsory.)
