I’ve been self employed for several years as a freelancer but also have had a part time job on & off. Anyway I’ve left my last part time job after mat leave & currently fully self employed. However income can bounce around over the year. I’ve got my childcare code for 15 hours & it’s valid until March before it’s up for renewal. My question is do hrmc check income for 3 months & validate / take back hours if minimum is not met within the 3 month window? I’m a few hundred pounds off the minimum for this window 🤦🏾♀️ Looking at picking up agency work after feb half term so this should help but just wondered what your experience is with this? TIA
