Lost my confidence at work any advice

I work in PM and since I started there's been zero training and have just been dumped on projects after projects. Since I'm quite junior I found my experience so far to have been that the senior PMS will ask me to do something and if I ask for any clarifications they will get frustrated and have a figure it out yourself attitude. I have made a few mistakes here and there over the span of three years but got good performance reviews and recently I'm starting to have anxiety after work hours thinking everyone hates me and thinks I'm shit. Is it normal to make mistakes here and there. Would I have gotten a good performance review if I was shit at my job? Is it normal to sometimes make mistakes ( I don't ever make the same one twice).

I don't know what PM is but firstly I am sure that other people are not thinking that way. You are just not feeling equipped to deal with your job because of poor training and this is knocking your confidence. Is your job one where there might be books or online training that you could complete to help you feel more prepared?

I think you're definitely overthinking this. It's been 3 years. If you weren't good enough you would have been managed out by now. Yes its normal to make mistakes!

Sounds like you have imposter syndrome. If there were any problems they would have been raised at your evaluations. In my experience companies are very quick to make records of any issues so they can use it in performance management processes in the future.

I managed PMs and I am 100 percent confident that if you weren't up to the job they would not have given you three years of positive performance reviews. Imposter syndrome can build up over time and really undermine your confidence. Try to adopt the attitude that no news is good news and if your work isn't being second guessed or criticised by colleagues then you are obviously doing a good job.

The Senior PMs probably have had the same training as you (ie. None), they just seem more confident. You've been there 3 years and get good reviews. You're fine.
