Volunteering - should I stay or no

I've been volunteering P/T in a charity shop (not one of the big names) for six months. I think I'm good at what I do and the customers are mostly nice. However, the supervisor and the general manager barely acknowledge my presence, never say hello/goodbye or are friendly towards me and I just feel they don't want me there. I don't know why, I could be right or wrong. I get on OK with the other volunteers when I see them, although there's generally only one per shift.

I'm looking around at other voluntary opportunities (I don't want paid work just yet as I'm hoping to move out of area within next few months). In the meantime, should I stay put at a voluntary job I know inside out or chance going where I might be happier?

The manager and supervisor sound rude and unprofessional. Have you ever asked them for any feedback? Would you need them to give you a reference?

Maybe it’s a sign for you to focus on planning that move and making it happen.

If it were me, I would leave and I would say why. Why should you give up your free time to be made to feel uncomfortable, as though you’re not really wanted?
If you were in a paid job, it might be worth exploring the issue further. But you’re not. It’s entirely down to your generosity of time that you are there. I don’t see that you owe the charity anything. Quite the reverse. And you owe it to yourself to be happy.
