I'm due to start a new job 03/02/2025 and the usual pay date is 16th of the month paid 2 weeks in arrears 2 weeks in advance. Does this mean that I will be paid a full month salary on 16/02/2025?
Any help would be much appreciated!

If you are starting on 3rd it may be a little short of a full month's salary. If your pay date is always 16th a full months salary will be a twelfth of the annual salary, but it depends on what days their payroll uses to calculate a working week.

You’ll probably need to check with your HR team as in my company (15th month payday) you’d have missed the payroll cutoff for February if you started on 3rd so would get paid nearly two full
months salary on 15th March and nothing in February

Similar dates for mine although an off payroll payment would be made in February rather than having to wait until March

If you are paid 2 weeks in arears/2 weeks in advance, I don't understand why you are paid on 16th of the month - you should receive 13 payments per annum not 12.

Always expect to be underpaid when you first join a job -usually its down to the pay day not falling great or the emergency tax code kicking in.

I'd pay you on 16th fir tge days employed that month. Payroll should get it paid if you start early month - but perhaps ask them.
