Starting nhs job whilst doing Masters

Hi.
So I currently work as a lecturer 3 days per week. I've been in the post for nearly 4 years but to be honest the team and culture are toxic. I am also doing a part time masters (8 months left to go) and have young ish kids.
Work got so bad recently I applied for other jobs back in the nhs as a clinician and was lucky to be offered a nice 3 day per week band 6 role. However, I'm now in a dilemma. Even though I hate the academic role, the role is flexible. I get the school holidays off and can wfh some days. I'm worried I will.miss the school holidays if I go back to the nhs. Also, will starting a new role be too demanding when doing my msc? In August I'll be writing my dissertation. If I'm still working at the uni I'll be off. However if I'm in the nhs I'll be juggling work and childcare. I do miss doing clinical work and fear I'm losing my clinical skills and it will get harder and harder to get back into the nhs. This role does seem nice. I've also been considering locuming so I get the clinical experience without losing the flexibility and combining this with.my academic role, but then worried I'm takng on too.much. I need to let the nhs role know if I accept soon but not sure what to do....

I've finished my masters working full time nhs and have two kids and was going through a nasty divorce so yes it's doable. You'll get some study leave hopefully and you have 4 days not working so I don't see the issue. Go for it if the job will make you happier and you can sort childcare

Can you ask nhs to support your masters? I’m nhs and just completed a pgdip part time over 2 years with one paid study day a week. Worth asking if you can prove it’ll be relevant.

i also have 3 dc (and i got a distinction).

Wait until you've completed your masters before changing roles
