I work fully remotely, and I love it. I'm productive, and my productivity can be measured due to the nature of my role.
It's frustrating to see the common narrative around remote working, and I often wonder about the drivers for this narrative. I feel like someone who wants to slack off can probably do that either in person or remotely.
I'm much more interested in discussions around which tasks can be done well remotely, and which are better in person. I'm happy working remotely at this stage in my career, but then I've benefitted hugely from a significant amount of in person training during the earlier part of my career. I'm also interested in how the beneficial aspects of being in person could perhaps be replicated for those working remotely.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any useful articles or resources about this, or does anyone have any useful remote working ideas?
