Anyone had their wage slip yet?
Just curious as to how much extra may receive this month
I'm top band six 35 hours a week

I’ve had mine, I’m top 7 full time & my deductions alone were £1780!
I ended up with £561.

I got less than half after tax and pension deductions.

Toddlerteaplease · 23/10/2024 20:51

Top band 5. Best Payslip I've ever had. £1295 deducted though!

sundaysunday2024 · 23/10/2024 21:01

I'm top of B6, full time and have approx £900 extra in take home pay

Mum2jenny · 23/10/2024 21:04

Yip in Scotland 42% tax on back pay for anyone top increment band 6 and above. So can look forward to seeing approximately half of your gross back pay 😡.

Cysco · 23/10/2024 21:06

Top band 6,take home £3492 so about £900 back pay I think, full time

deflatedbirthday · 23/10/2024 21:09

No pay slip yet but figure is on HMRC app. Unfortunately doesn't show pension contributions but by my very crude calculations I'm approx £400 extra after deductions. Top of band 3 full time xx

Offredismysister · 23/10/2024 21:27

Wow, I’ve really been rinsed.

Dr13Hadley · 23/10/2024 21:33

I'm top of band 4 at 30hrs p/w and got £450 extra take home pay. It's what I expected from calculations I made when the increase was announced.

I also work on the bank via NHSP and that hasn't changed pay rate at all so not sure what happens with that!

IVFWarrior40 · 24/10/2024 14:58

Top of a band 6 - 22.5 hours a week. The pay rise pushed me into the next pension contribution bracket so came away with back pay of less than £200. 😫

Also top of B7. Full time without shifts. I got just under £1k.
I would speak to your payroll.

I moved to a new trust at the start of June. Ive checked my banking app today & the old trust have also paid me. So it does add up to a bit more 😊

Spacecowboys · 25/10/2024 08:02

Lost most of it to pension arrears ( plus tax). Out of £1700 got about £350.

orangestarburst · 26/11/2024 21:39

I have just looked at my payslip - top of band 5 - full time - have been on mat leave this last year and back beginning September - £166 arrears?! Surely incorrect, should go on my basic hours salary surely? 🤔 will be going to payroll but anyone else in same situation?
