Is interview coaching worth it?

Just that really - got through to a Civil Service G7 job interview at the end October.

Should I consider paying £360 for a two hour coaching session? It's a high level job, way out of my comfort zone.

TIA x

If you aren't confident with interviews and you really want the job and can afford it, maybe, but without knowing you, your background, your personality etc it's almost impossible to answer online. That's a lot of money sot the context is everything.

Hit and miss.

Brand 2 county council I got through an interview through a role play and scored interview questions.

Recently applied for a band 4 district council doing the same work eg in a call centre and environment just different subjected lines - I presume the job didn’t really exist and or why they advertise every 6 months - some of the questions were very basic like what systems have you used? To have you dealt with complaints face to face. Questions that really should and could maybe have been tackled in an application pack.
Then there was the saga of the remote working pretty dishonest setup, I just left horribly with the impression if you were a new worker to this council you’d end up resentful of the older workers…

A whole day’s annual leave wasted for a 13 minute interview. I came away clear that when my time is up it is not a council/gov that I want to work for. I just want back in the private sector now.
