I am deflated

Started a new job which I like and in trading but I don't think training is going well as it is not structured properly etc system/ platform still new to me

Anyway need help with something on the platform that I have never done independently before and asked colleague for help and this silly woman told not to help that I should Nino's it by now

Thankfully the younger colleague still came to help but I was pissed and angry but kept my cool because of don't wanna creat a scene in the office + she is always whispering to other younger colleagues telling them to go onto my work and check for mistakes more like looking for ways to go tell manager of my mistakes etc (one younger colleague confirmed that she is actually whispering to him to check my work and that he thinks she's trying to rope into something or make sure I get into trouble

Sent an email to manage a day later to report the incident and I just had meeting now and I don't honk she is taking the issue seriously + she said the silly colleague already mentioned the incident to her on the day it happened that she said she snapped and that she feels I should further along than I am now.

Manager said she will let her know that she upset me but I was not upset, I was and I and i am furious and pissed. We couldn't spend much time as I had a work meeting training which I was already running late for

I did raise the issue of the disjointed training with manager but she had an answer that I heard but don't don't really agree with but then is clear that's the way they want to do things.

I had contemplated resigning from the job few days after it all happened

What do I do now 🤷🏽‍♀️

There are quite a few typos and I'm not too clear on what's going on.

Do you mean she said you should know it by now? Are you always asking for help? Obviously people should help but was she busy?

Sometimes people get snappy at work, particularly when they're busy. Additionally if you're asking for help a lot, that could get irritating.

I don't understand why this would make you furious and want to resign. Throughout your working life, you're going to come across difficult people and you need to learn to just get on with it.

Sorry for the typos just rushing doing a lot of things at once

I am not always asking for help

I was not asking her for help at the time
I was asking the person that was there specifically to help me as I am still in training and trying to fly solo and the person I was asking for help was not busy

Also I understand that one will always face people like her in work places
