Employer completely disregarded my input at annual review

I'm aware that employers have to do what's best for the business. But why ask people what they want / think / need in feedback forms to then disregard and not even reference what they've said?

After the annual review process, the company I work at has restructured. They said the new team / account structure has been decided to work better, allow for growth, and to factor in what they heard from our annual reviews.

The one thing I made a point of saying, and have raised before, is the optimal number of accounts on which I can do my best work and fulfil my role on. The restructure gives me an increased number of clients. Meanwhile, it gives other employees what they asked for ie. better management structure, reasonable number of accounts. I have previously been assured that I'd never have this many clients again the last time it came up. I feel unheard and like my views don't matter.

I don't want to lose my job, but tbh I am feeling close to quitting. The workload on this many accounts previously caused me to burnout. How should I assert my position at my next 121?

Sounds like you need to look for a new job.

I would repeat what you have said here over and over until they get it. While looking for another job.

Do you have more accounts than other people? Or do you take longer on each account? Find a peer and do a comparison and show your manager the estimated time it takes.

Or just look for another job.

Same old same old. The more work that you can do the more work they will keep pushing your way.

Can you afford to walk out?

I thought the comments would be more like "pull yourself together, you're lucky to have a job".

I've become very used to saying yes in this job.
