Is there really such a thing as flexible part-time work?

Often see ads for working from home in your own time doing things like proof reading, but are these real roles or a scam to make money out of the desperate?!

Ive been part time for a few years as it works well for childcare but finances are squeezed at the moment (I know I’m not alone). My main job is teaching and it’s quite full-on and stressful so if I can avoid going back full-time it would be great. Does anyone have any suggestion of things I could do in evenings/ at weekends?

Considered things like Usborne book sales but those sort of jobs always seem like a lot of time and effort for not much money. Plus I don’t want to be that friend who only shows up to stuff to try and sell you things.

I've also seen things advertised - like Amazon reviews etc to make extra cash but haven't found one that looks legit yet. Looked into Usbourne books but like you say it was too much effort for very little return.
I joined a market research forum on FB and they often advertise paid research projects (usually 1-2 hours etc) but that's only the odd £50-£100 here and there.

Universities employ study skills tutors, mental health mentors and note takers on conditions that might suit you.

Market research stuff might be good for an extra couple of quid from time to time. Do you have the name of the fb group?

Tutoring would seem an obvious choice.

@Blessed25 how do i private message you from my phone app?

Part time is a con. You often just work full time in shorter hours. Compressed working is far better
