How can I support my new baby?

Hi!
At the moment and for the foreseeable future, I'm unable to work anything outside the home due to some disabilities.
I am due very soon and would love to be able to contribute to the household financially, if only a little.
Having spent a long time researching work-from-home / self-employed jobs, I've found myself woefully underqualified.
I don't have computer skills beyond basic requirements, so things like 'graphic designer' and the other typical WFH ideas are not an option.
Are there any roles, however informal, I could do at home which don't require extensive experience/skills in a particular field?
As for self-employment, are there any business I could set up which don't require specific skills?
Thanks! :-)

Realistically, no. You could do surveys or market research but they take up a huge amount of time for very little return and you won't be able to with a baby to look after. There are no magic WFH jobs that are compatible with a baby. Sorry if that sounds harsh.

Could you get yourself qualified in something compatible? That might be a good starting point. What sort of thing have you seen?

As it stands, you should look into what you're entitled to claim - maternity allowance (or statutory maternity pay if you've recently been employed), universal credit and PIP if you are chronically unwell/disabled. The Citizens Advice website or helpline could help you.
