Being undermined & purposely ignored at work

I work part-time for a charity in comms/marketing. I am the only person employed to provide marketing/comms support and I am part of a wider directorate focused on a different area of work (fundraising)

I did not have any major issues until I went on sick leave for a month and a half after a hideous breakdown (I have a long term mental health condition).

Since I came back I am noticing that some people in my directorate have been regularly undermining me: failing to include me in meetings or giving me the info I need, trying to produce marketing and design work (which is my responsibility) without involving me which is complete contrary to the process that was agreed early on by senior management and is leading to the material they produce not being on brand and look frankly awful. I also am given the cold shoulder by some of these people when I am in the office and my attempt to be friendly and exchange a few words.

I pointed this out several times to my manager who even suggested that this is my fault: apparently I am too 'rigid' or 'abrupt' (although no specific example has been given) for wanting material to be produced correctly and for asking people to stick to the right procedure to make sure we have a cohesive brand...I have never missed a deadline or had my work criticised by my manager but she also claimed that people are doing their own thing because they worry I will not get the job done which I find baffling.

I have never had this type of issue although I have held several similar senior comms roles in the past.

This organisation has a high staff turnover and I know that it is not the best of environment but I am really affected by people basically now ganging up to avoid me and starting to doubt my skills.

I have tried to be helpful and friendly but I also need to be professional and cannot let people who have zero experience of my area of work think they can just bypass me and do as they please.

I am the oldest in that team and as far as I know the only one with a long term health condition and feels like I am being single out and blamed for the team general unhappiness with the organisation.

How would you address this?

I am job hunting and now keeping a diary of all incidents but this is really getting to me...

When you were off for 6 weeks, who did the work then?

If the answer is that they did it themselves, you'll need someone senior to remind them work must come to you now.

But they might be trying to support you so don't assume the worst.

Maybe approach it as 'thanks to everyone who supported me when I was off, if you send me work you've done I can ensure it's in line with our corporate brand/ branding requirements. I'm happy to resume all design work going forward.'
