How to report manager anonymously

Only new store manager for 3 weeks and he’s a bully - accepting zero excuses why reductions weren’t all done the other day. I had to go on checkouts for 2 hours, we had a code checker on sick and another had to attend an unwell customer. Plus we had excess stock, volume and number of lines.

He has upsetted many colleagues.

Is there a way to report him anonymously

Why anonymous? You're all adults.

And no, excuses shouldn't be accepted.

Reasons yes, excuses no.

Do you have a staff handbook or any policies? Will really depend on the organization you work for and their size

Your best bet is to raise the issue collectively.

What has he done that is bullying? Not accepting excuses just sounds like he is tough and trying to establish his authority in a new role. How has he upset people?

Not accepting excuses just sounds like he is tough and trying to establish his authority in a new role. Unreasonable expectations are workplace bullying. If someone is taken off task A to do task B instead, they can't reasonably be expected to complete task A.

'Tough' has no place in a modern workplace. It is not the workhouse. Reasonable expectations and good communication are needed from managers.

I have listed reasons but he calls them excuses.

He has come from a smaller store and doesn't understand how larger stores work. Normally they are departmental manager before becoming a store manager of a larger store.
