Posh school position - wardrobe help!

I am interviewing for an office role in a very posh faith school in London and having a minor panic attack over what to wear. I’ve worked the same job in another sector and have major transferable skills but for the last decade I’ve only worn casual clothes and even trainers to work so I’d be starting a new wardrobe from scratch if I get this job.
Ive looked at the school social media and its a mixed bag and a lot of tea dresses but some ideas would be great. I’d be in the senior leadership team, does that mean a jacket as standard?

I work in a non-teaching senior role at a private school - joined a couple of years ago and was new to sector (previous jobs meant trainers and generally pretty casual), I also had no clue what to wear!

I found 2-3 smart, modern blazers (H&M and M&S are my go-to) which I'll wear for parent facing events or governor/external meetings etc. I'm a fan of some wide leg trousers, culottes, silky shirts with a bold print, plus a couple of shirt dresses too.

I've also invested in a couple of pairs of brogues - one nude, one black patent - as I can't do heels these days!

Thats good to hear. I am not even sure if trousers would be ok and I’m a trouser girl so these are nervous times 😂

I’ll be in flats too where possible and already have a few brogue style shoes thankfully.

I really want this job as the pay is decent, it’s local, and I need a new environment.

If it's RC, there are still a few tiny pockets of not being keen on very close fitting or very loose trousers.

Safest option is a dress that's knee-midi length, with sleeves - no sleeveless, low cut or strappy ones - flat, supportive and comfortable shoes and then you can check out what it's like day to day to work out what's actually acceptable.

They should tell you if you're required to have a blazer or not (but it's handy to have one to hand just in case there's a sudden emergency VIP visit).

ETA: SLT in an office? That means SBM, usually. Yes, have a blazer.
