I put in my recent annual appraisal I have had to train a lot of people due to a high turnover of staff. I stated the organisation should have relived me of my duties as I have felt overwhelmed at times and another team who I have had to train should have got an external trainer in from the IT system the company uses. I also said why I have not been paid extra for excessive training requests.
The manager saw me yesterday when he went to get a drink and he claims the new director wants me to train people on the system. It is as though he ignored what I said in my appraisal. They should be getting someone in from the software developer. Previously 2 people in the IT team did the training, 1 of them was outstanding and left the company and the remaining person refuses to do the IT training now even though the person who left was replaced.
What can I do? I am not a trainer and not getting the pay I deserve. I have already done training user guides and people have had the training. Everyone follows the user guides and said they work so why do I have to train people again.
Some people claim they don't know how to use the system but the reality is they just ask others to do it to get out of doing the work.
