Wage or progression/job title?

I'm about to be interviewed for a job that I've done previously, however it'll mean taking a pay cut and a two day cut of annual leave. I'll call my current job, job A and the potential job, job B. Am a lone parent.

Job A
Earning mid 30k, (good for sector) job fully flexible and majority WFH. 28 days annual leave plus BH's, majority of immediate team fantastic to work with, have days where I love it. Workload often excessive and feel unmotivated. Have, unfortunately, been faced with disability discrimination which was covered up IMO by being minimised as much as possible, I feel it's given me a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth and a bad name for raising it. Management is poor and for the majority absent, means I don't get micro managed but am also left to manage myself and act up to a point. Workplace fairly toxic, disagreements, raised by many, about colleague were dismissed and again made to look like a troublemaker, until manager witnessed it for himself. Meetings often come with 'leaderboards' of capacity amount and figures etc, no I don't work in sales or anything similar... Issues raised with management never get progressed. Since been advised there is no progression in organisation for myself. If I stay I can either do a sidewards step with potentially a small raise or stay where I am. Company due to become much bigger in around a year. But fully flexible and pays well!!

Job B

Middle management role in exact same job I have been in previously, (different organisation) would know the job inside out. More time in office though, two days AL cut until I've been there a year then a days increase per year, taking home £150 a month less, organisation does not pay as well. Unsure about workplace culture, less personal risk though in terms of face to face work. So a lot of unknown really!

Is it easier to progress if you are already in a management role? I am ambitious but currently feel disillusioned and demotivated. Then I think what would I look for in a new job? Good money and flexibility! Which I have, but clearly other issues. If offered would you make the move? Is job title or wage more important? I'd like to make positive change and feel unable to do it currently. Advice welcome 🤗

What research have you done on job B's culture? Do you have any way to speak to any current or former staff?

What do you want long term? You say you're ambitious but that you've already been told you'll never progress at job A (which also sounds like the relationship has broken down) - if you want to progress you'll need to leave sooner or later.

Is the £150 less per month before or after tax? Can you afford to absorb that for now if it gets you where you want to be in the long run?

Thanks for replying. So the lack of progression is due to the organisation having no middle management, hence the current lack of management that we have - too much work for the current ones has led to no one being managed effectively. So there is basically no natural step up for me. Bridges have been burnt though also I feel, though there is of course opportunities for me to move to different depts, though this is something that I wouldn't want.

The £150 is after tax, I could just suck it up, it is the cost of my council tax per month but short term pain...

There are people within my current organisation that I could ask re culture. I've looked on the standard internet recruitment sites with colleague reviews etc and opinions just differ dependent on which part of the company people work in.
