Notice letter for quitting (very) new job

I've had an absolutely awful first five weeks in a new job. It's been shambolic to be honest. The on-boarding process has been basically non existent, the team members I have met have openly been incredibly negative about the role and the management, I've just been left to it entirely and it's 100% not for me. Thankfully I've managed to line something else up quickly. I'm drafting my notice letter, do I keep it very simple and just state my last day or do I say that I've come to the conclusion the job isn't for me and give my reasons for that? Do I tell them how horrific this entire situation has been? Is that appropriate in a notice letter?

Sorry you've had a bad experience

I would probably be quite high level about it

Dear whomever

Please take this as my letter of resignation my mast day will be x

After consideration I don't feel this is the right fit for me personally.

All the best in the future

Bye bye bye

If they ask you can say you have felt unsupported and the culture isn't the tight fit for you

Interesting, thanks. I was thinking of telling them how awful it's been but perhaps it's unnecessary 😂

Keep it professional. You can give them constructive comments but avoid offloading about how horrific you've found it. Save that for a rant to a friend IRL or therapy.

I'd simply give them the factual information that you are resigning with immediate effect/with effect from whenever.

If they want to know why, let them ask.

Omg watching with interest as this will be me tomorrow (10 weeks in, in a senior position). Toxic culture - no thank you. Was also going to say how bad it has all been but won't bother now.

You may yet have an exit interview. Resignation within probation has got to be of concern to a decent employer.

Sounds like they aren't a decent employer though

I had an experience like this! Realised how awful it was when I saw my manager had downgraded all my achieved targets on the system to make it look like I was under perming and then shouted at me just before Christmas that he didn't want me back. When I did go after a year they were too cowardly to offer an exit interview.
Just get out quickly and keep it clean.
