Has anyone worked as a PIP functional assessor?

It's depends on the business, and its reputation.

If you're putting people on a pip logically it's to give them a chance to succeed. However if people are put on a pip with managers using it as a way to manage people out and the employees never stood a chance regardless of their efforts then your life in this role will be hell.

I would look at Glassdoor and ask around in terms of company ethics

It’s a disability benefit? The job is assessing if claimants meet the criteria etc.

when other posters mentioned they thought op was mentioning benefits review jobs - I said please ignore my comment.
