What would you do - training replacement

Sorry - this is long.
Last year our team had open roles removed, instead we got vendors. Our tasks have been scaled down and removed bit by bit.
One team member lost all their work to vendors,I was told to train them on my daily work,to be my back up. Then I was asked to train them on more, including work they didn't have the tools knowledge for and quite complex things I would not expect them(fairly new starter,) to be responsible for.

I couldn't get an answer on our future, so much work was removed,so I looked for new roles.

In the middle of internal interviews I've been made "at risk" of redundancy. A couple of other have gone, newer team member is safe. (Different office locations.)
The day I was told my manager did not contact me.(We wfh.) The next day they emailed to chase up the additional training on complex tasks. Other team member replied, telling me to arrange his training.

Tearful call with line manager and they said to concentrate on getting a new role. HR said the same in my consult meeting.

Now department head set up a meeting next week for me to conduct the training with the person taking my job.
I am peri and emotional, I keep crying over this and can't concentrate. My confidence is crushed, I struggle to compose myself.
My consultation period is two weeks.
How would you manage this?

This isn’t going to be the best advice, but I can tell you what I would do… decline the meeting “as you have to keep availability for interviews”.

HR and your line manager have both advised you that that is your number one priority. When you’ve been successful at getting another role, that’s the time to consider training your replacement (if you’re feeling kind).

If someone is getting your job and you haven't resigned then your job isn't being made redundant surely?

And that's the other thing. I don't feel kind. I created documents and training guides for this person and they would not take notes or pay attention. Constantly asked the same questions after and told me I had to tell them the answers rather than them researching anything.

I'm also very angry that management must have know this was coming for months and lied to me about training the new person. Also higher manager was always very friendly with me until now, but has not even spoken to me this week or asked how I am.
I've told them the basics of the process, I feel that's as much as I can offer.

It just sounds so childish to say I'm not doing it but I really don't think I can.

Some has already been moved to vendors.
This other member of staff is in another office and paid much less than me. They will be doing the rest of the work I did.

I was told by the HR manager in my consult meeting to contact her with any concerns.
I think HR is for the companies benefit not mine, would she actually be able to offer me any advice does anyone know? Or just tell me to do it?

Those aren't the kind of concerns she meant. You need your own advice - Acas or a union if you're a member.
