Starting new job on Monday - no info on reasonable adjustments yet

I am starting a new Civil Service job on Monday. I haven't worked for the Civil Service before.

I have a disability and require some reasonable adjustments, which I have declared to them when asked during the application and pre-employment checks process. I haven't had any contact from anyone to confirm that these are ok and in place and I'm beginning to panic a little bit. I can't do the job without them, particularly as one of them is flexibility with working hours so I can attend my regular disability-related medical appointments. I have an appointment due next week and I'm worried I won't be able to go.

Should I expect to hear anything about this before I start or can I just assume they will be ok? I haven't had much information generally about starting next week, even unrelated to reasonable adjustments/disability. In the job I've just left, my manager arranged a phone call with me before I started to talk through the adjustments I'd need, so this is a very different experience.

It's possible this week be covered in the first day induction. But you'd need to ask!

When I started I got an occupational health assessment (phone call from a nurse) who wrote what my reasonable adjustments should be (she went through then with me) these were passed onto my department. I didnt hear anything else before i started so i asked the person from HR who was doing my onboarding about reasonable adjustments for parking etc and they put me in touch with the reasonable adjustments department who required proof of my condition to issue a disabled parking slot.

It did take a few weeks to come through (the pass), I will say the department I work for in the civil service have been outstanding, I've got a special chair for home and office, keyboard, mouse and they are very caring and understanding. They can be a bit slow but as a huge organisation I guess it can take time. I would talk to HR and remind them as they might forget.

I have to have regular hospital appointments and I do have to take them as flexi time but I think it can depend upon department ??
