Next year I would have done 20 years with my current employer. I plan to leave soon after this, as I will be moving. When I reach this milestone with the company I will receive a 50% discount which will be valid even after I leave. Now my question is as I have to give 12 weeks notice would I have to wait until I’ve actually got to the 20 year date to hand my notice in then work the 12 weeks notice or could I hand in my notice 12 weeks before so I leave shortly after the 20 year date. I don’t want to risk loosing the discount as this is a very valuable thing to get.
