Being micromanaged

Basically I want some advice on this, I work in a restaurant as a waitress, specifically this certain one for nearly 6 years, I returned from maternity leave a year and a half ago after 9 months to new deputy manager.
i have obviously a lot of experience in this restaurant to the point my rgm will leave me to watch the front of the restaurant whilst he takes his lunch break. However when I work with the deputy he micromanages my every move and feel like he is standing over my shoulder constantly although expects a lot from me at the same time (doing 3 people’s work at once instead of helping himself) today was the final straw as I stopped for literally a second and was saying goodbye to a colleague, giving her a hug as it was as her last working shift as she is leaving the company and he literally stands there saying my name To basically say get back to your job! Then he goes and stands in the bar talking to another member of staff for a good 10 minutes about dinosaurs. This has been happening for way too long and is bringing me down about work and is affecting my mental health badly as I’m literally not allowed to talk to my colleagues or even customers and have interactions without him standing.
Sorry about the waffling but
what can I do about this situation?

Urgh I feel your pain. I only have desk job experience but a good piece of advice I was once given: cc the boss into absolutely everything, overwhelming them with information about what I'm doing and when and with whom. Could work for you too if you loop this idiot into absolutely everything, he might get the hint
