As in the title I'm thinking about doing some form of course/accreditation/remote learning while on maternity leave.
I'm prepared to pay but I want to make sure I spend the money on something that will be recognised well by employers and strengthen my CV, rather than just any old course.
I started my career in big 4 management consulting and moved into retail in-store propositions/design and now work in store customer experience (not customer service) within the marketing function of a large household name. However my degree was in biology and I've sort of got here by accident, so I don't feel like I have anything to lean on that backs me up as an expert in my role, hence looking for extra learning.
To help narrow down, I'm really interested in behavioural science and decision making and how that affects us as consumers. I also have a longer term vision of leaning back into my consulting experience and doing some freelance or project work, perhaps going independent, with a retail design/customer journey/behavioural science niche.
Any advice from hiring managers or if you've done something similar would be most welcome, thank you!
