Feedback after failed job interview

I recently applied for internal position (different team but same organisation). I thought interview went really well but unfortunately didn't got offered the job. I had to chase to find that out as it was over a week since interview and I hadn't heard anything (knew at that point I wasn't going to be offered it as I know all interviews were on same day and they tend to offer quickly). They asked if I'd like feedback - I said yes. A week later, no feedback so I chased. They said they'd sort it. Now a week later and still no feedback. I feel humiliated if I have to chase again but I really want some feedback! Should I chase again or leave it? Really upset about the whole experience at this point.

Keep chasing, maybe put an invite in their dairy to discuss it, I imagine that would speed it up.

I’d consider this company/department a dodged bullet to be honest !
Imagine working for them and having to chase for info, getting ignored, etc.
They sound very disorganised and/or rude.

It's annoying but not unusual. Actually, I'd say the majority of the time when I fail the after-contact is very unsatisfactory (late, vague, none, weeks to a decision, etc.)

I totally flubbed an interview earlier this year; there was no unpleasantness, I just couldn't collect my thoughts to give good answers. I was curious how they would phrase the fail but it took weeks to get a statement from HR which is below. The actual interview panel chair ignored my follow up email. Not really the effort to chase sometimes.

"Unfortunately, I regret to advise you that after careful consideration you have not been successful on this occasion."

They have advertised the same position again since.

I didn't chase yesterday and thought I would leave it until next week now. Even though I know it's them that should be embarrassed and not me, I feel awful about the whole thing.

@lljkk there are definitely some interviews that have gone so badly that I didn't want feedback! This one was good though so I am interested in what they might say. They did tell me I had been a reserve candidate so I'd be interested to know what extra things I could have shown in interview to improve things. Not sure they will be particularly honest after all this though. I often end up being told I'm reserve candidate so really need to be able to improve to be first choice for once.

I think I feel worse about it because it's internal and these are people I know, have worked with before and probably will have to in future too.

Hold your head up OP you’ve nothing to be embarrassed about.
People apply for internal jobs every day of the week.
The fact they haven’t got good notes to provide feedback suggests the recruitment wasn’t done that professionally in my opinion.

Just carry on doing your job well and they’ll see what they missed out on 😁
