Is my pay correct?

I have started a job in August and I am leaving this week.
I started 7th August and was paid just over £1550, I am due to be paid this week and the payslip has just 20p more than last month - Wednesday is my last day.

I have had 3 days leave in total over the two months one of which was the August bank hol.

My salary is £25,000 haven't yet had a student loan or pension deduction. Any payroll people can work out if the sums are correct? I have emailed payroll but would like 2nd opinion!

Hours per week are 37.25 and hols are 30 per year incl bank hols.

Thanks if you can help!

Just ask Payroll for the calculations/breakdown so you can confirm it.

It depends on what your pay period is. Ask payroll.

Nobody can help on this very limited information. You mention what you have been paid, so I would assume this is after tax, so nobody is going to be able to comment on what your tax situation is and whether there was any year to date tax correction in your first pay.

For any kind of meaningful answer you need to post your dates worked and gross pay for the periods.

As others have said, nobody can help you based on this information, you need to speak to the payroll department

Thanks all, have queried pay period with payroll too as hasn't been advised. Looking at the payslips there was no adjustments on them, tax code is the standard 23/24 and only deductions have been for tax and NI.
Gross pay was just over 1800 whereas I would have expected it to be closer to 2000 (25000/12)

Will wait and see what they say.

VERY rough calculations, based on the assumption that you get paid for beginning to end of month in each pay packet - there are on average 22 working days a month and you have worked 19 in August and 19 in September (so both months will be about the same pay)

25000/12 =2083 a month wage

Divide that by the average of 22 workiing days a month and times it by the 19 that you actually worked =£1799

you may be owed some holiday but that may be paid in the next wages
