Due to start on Monday and also got my second dose of vaccines on Monday as well. But I’m dreading it and seriously thinking of not signing the contract cause of the jab plus anxiety. First dose was like burning liquid going in both arms (was close to tears and I’ve had loads of jabs before and honestly they have never bothered me at all before) and now I’m getting bad anxiety over, plus it doesn’t help I got anxiety going the the induction day as well.
So do I have to have the vaccine as I’m working in housekeeping doing the staff accommodation so not even a patient role at all.
To add I rang up and the woman said talk to the nurse on the day but I don’t want to start if I’ve got to have the jab as I’ve been offered another job.
Sorry for such a long essay but not been sleeping all week and anxiety is through the roof.

No, it's not compulsory to have the mmr jab. It is recommended, but they can't make you have it.
When I started as house keeper with NHS I was advised about the mmr, but I declined it. I have had the hep b vaccination.

I found induction day really easy, though mine was done at home on Teams as there were still no face to face meetings at the time.

You wouldn’t have had MMR in both arms, presumably you had a different vaccine as well.
No , they can’t force you to have it.
