Please help me figure out which option could benefit me/ my career. Really swaying between them all.
Big multinational company, splitting into two companies.
Option 1 - Remain in the existing company. The people are great, the work itself isn't good. Good company benefits. Potential for redundancy in a year or two.
Option 2 - Tupe to new company. My current manager (micromanager) is tuping over and I'm really struggling to work with this person. But new work/ accounts that offer better prospects long term but really would struggle to enjoy this work due to the manager situation. Good company benefits.
Option 3 - Find job externally. I've started job hunting but it's difficult already and timing isn't on my side. Struggling to find similar company benefits. Would start on a probation period. Need x weeks service to be eligible for mat pay. 3 month notice period in current role before I could start new role externally.
Our remortgage is due the end of this year (worried about changing job near remortgage, due to long notice period) and I have started trying for a second child, but have experienced fertility issues so it may happen soon, it may take a while or not at all but guess I should perhaps factor this into the decision somehow.
